Pretty Flowers and Gardens

We go to Duke Gardens quite often. It's always so pretty. Here are some pics that I took during our last visit!

You can always find an abundance of wildlife in the gardens. These three painted turtles were enjoying a little sunshine

We were all quite amused by this duck's funny hair style!! :P

Pelicans!!

 We go to the beach quite often and I'm always admiring the pelicans. Most of the time they are too far away or just won't hold still and it's hard to get good photos. On Kure Beach Pier yesterday a bunch of pelicans were sitting around because a storm was blowing in. So getting close but just out of pecking distance, I grabbed my phone and started snapping pictures :D Hope you enjoy!!

Butterflies were around in abundance (fishermen say when the yellow butterflies are out

it means the fish are biting....) made for some pretty picture taking :)

I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything, just haven't been too inspired I guess. So I'm going to start a series of these beach pictures that I took while on a fishing trip with my husband :) It was so gorgeous and perfect weather and beautiful colors! :D Hope you enjoy.
